When I’m laying in bed at night, I often search for blogging tips, ways to make money, and things of that nature using my phone. Every once in a while I will come across a tip that I include in my blogs, but never like the one I found tonight…
I was browsing the Internet as usual, making Google searches about how to make more money with Google AdSense and I came across a post on Christian PF about how to make money on a blog. In the post, Bob talks about the importance of a privacy policy for AdSense publishers, which is something that I have never heard of before (and I have been using AdSense for over two years). Basically, if you provide your website readers with a privacy policy (it doesn’t even have to be fancy), Google will be happy with you. If not, they will trim your earnings and give you pennies when you should be getting dollars.
I immediately got out of bed, grabbed my computer, and started adding privacy policies to all of my AdSense-enabled websites. I found a free online tool on Serp Rank to be very helpful in creating the privacy policies. All you have to do is insert your website URL into one box and your email address into another and the program writes your policy for you. Keep in mind that you shouldn’t use a privacy policy of this quality for legal purposes, but if you’re just trying to earn more money through AdSense, it’ll do just fine.
It’s now 2:10 AM, but my websites now have privacy policies so I will have to wait and see how it affects my earnings.

I don’t think adding a privacy policy will increase your earnings, its actually compulsory to have one if you have adsense on your site, otherwise you run the risk of Google canning your account.
Below is the exact wording that is on the Terms and Conditions for Adsense publishers:
“You must have and abide by an appropriate privacy policy that clearly discloses that third parties may be placing and reading cookies on your user’s browser, or using web beacons to collect information, in the course of ads being served on your website. Your privacy policy should also include information about user options for cookie management.”
I have no idea… All I know is that I added my privacy policy last month and since then my earnings went from $12 to $23 over just one month.

That’s the same thought I had… I added a privacy policy to all of my AdSense sites as quick as possible.
